LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. β Experiencing the magic at the most magical and happiest places on Earth will cost a little extra.
Date-based single ticket prices at Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California will hold steady, however, with the least expensive options remaining unchanged at $109 per day for Disney World and $104 per day at Disneyland, according to CNBC.
The company says that's its standard ticket option.
Disneyland, which uses a tired system for some of its tickets, will see an increase, CBS MoneyWatch reports.
For annual pass holders at Disney World, prices are going up across the board β jumping by as much as 10 percent for the lowest-level Disney Pixie Dust Pass. The breakdown is as follows:
- Disney Incredi-Pass: $1,449 (plus tax), up from $1,399 (plus tax)
- Disney Sorcerer Pass: $999 (plus tax), up from $969 (plus tax)
- Disney Pirate Pass: $799 (plus tax), up from $749 (plus tax)
- Disney Pixie Dust Pass: $439 (plus tax), up from $399 (plus tax)
And it's not just tickets that are rising in price β parking at the theme park will go up by $5, which Disney says is on par with parking pricing at other Central Florida theme parks.
"We are constantly adding new, innovative attractions and entertainment to our parks and, with our broad array of pricing options, the value of a theme park visit is reflected in the unique experiences that only Disney can offer," a Disney spokesperson said in a statement.
Along with some price changes, Disney World announced guests with "park hopper benefits" or an annual pass will be able to visit another park at any time of the day during park hours.
Starting Jan. 9, 2024, people will be able to decide when it's time to visit another park instead of needing to wait until after 2 p.m. each day, the company said.
Park-goers will be able to start off their morning at Animal Kingdom before hopping over to EPCOT and maybe taking a stroll to Hollywood Studios until they end up at Magic Kingdom at any time of day.
"We want to make visiting Disney World easier, simpler and more FUN!" according to Disney. "We know how much Disney means to so many of you, and we continue to make changes so you get more value out of your vacation and to help you, your friends and family enjoy our theme parks the way you want to."
Disney also announced last week a new offer will be available on Nov. 14 for families and groups who want to save on a trip in the spring.
Theme park tickets and dining plans for any child between the ages of 3-9 will be 50 percent off with the purchase of a non-discounted four-night, four-day Walt Disney Travel Company package for families and their kids that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel, theme park tickets and a dining plan.
The offer will be valid for stays on most nights from March 3 through June 30 of next year.
For those who plan to head out to Hollywood to get a taste of Disneyland, there's a different offer for discounted children's tickets.
For a limited time, people can buy a child's ticket β valid for ages 3 to 9 β to any Disneyland theme park for as low as $50 per child, per day.
The offer will be available for purchase beginning on Oct. 24 but can only be used between Jan. 8 through March 10 next year. More information about this offer will be available on the same day it goes on sale.
