TERREBONNE PARISH, La. — Louisiana Rep. Clay Higgins won another term on Tuesday, according to WWL Lousiana projections.
Higgins was challenged by fellow Republican Xan Johh and two Democrats, Priscilla Gonzalez and Sadi Summerlin.
This district includes Terrebonne Parish and part of Lafourche.
Higgins, a former car salesman whose second career was in law enforcement, gained fame for tough-talking anti-crime videos. He won an open seat in 2016 and won reelection twice while voicing support for former President Donald Trump.
