BATON ROUGE, La. - Gestures by children and adults towards officers helped ease the immense pain of a shooting that left 3 officers dead and 3 others injured, one of whom is fighting for his life.
In the aftermath, people have come to the area of the shooting, placing flowers, notes and small tokens of appreciation at the roadside memorial.
