NEW ORLEANS — President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will be in New Orleans next week, according to the White House.
Officials say they will attend a Biden Cancer Moonshot event. The event will take place on Tuesday, August 13th.
"Additional details to come," the White House said.
First Lady Jill Biden toured the Louisiana Cancer Research Center in New Orleans in March of 2023 with Senator Bill Cassidy and his wife, Dr. Laura Cassidy. Dr. Laura Cassidy is a breast cancer surgeon.
