WASHINGTON — Actors Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have announced they're divorcing after 13 years of marriage.

"After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down," a joint statement posted Friday on both of their Instagram stories explained. "In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family's wish for privacy."

Fisher, 48, and Cohen, 52, have three children: Olive, 16, Elula, 13 and Montgomery, 9.

Back in 2022, Fisher spoke to The Australian Women's Weekly about keeping her personal life private, particularly when it comes to her children and her marriage.

"I get nervous talking about it because I feel like, by not having my relationship in the public domain and not having spoken about how we met or really talked about our marriage publicly, it’s remained something private and valuable to me. I don’t know if that’s the secret," she told the outlet

The announcement of the couple's divorce comes amid allegations by Australian actress Rebel Wilson that she felt "sexually harassed" by Sacha Baron Cohen on the set of the 2016 movie "Grimsby." Wilson made the claims in her memoir, Rebel Rising, which was released on Tuesday. In response, a representative for Baron Cohen described the allegations as "demonstrably false."

A source told ET that the recently announced divorce had nothing to do with Wilson's allegations.

It is not clear where or exactly when the couple filed to end their marriage, or when the divorce would have become final.
