Man shot, killed at Parisite Skate Park in New Orleans

No word on a suspect or motive from NOPD yet

NEW ORLEANS —

The New Orleans Police Department has not arrested anyone in connection with a fatal Thursday night shooting at at Parisite Skate Park in Gentilly.

Shots were fired around 9:20 p.m. at 1606 Pleasure Street,  the location of the public skate park. The park is about two blocks from Dillard University, just north of the Seventh Ward.

When officers arrived, they found a man, identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner as 22-year-old David Magee, fatally shot at the location. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Investigators are still working to determine a motive and have not released any information about a suspect in the case.
