NEW ORLEANS -- Eyewitness News took home six top Division I AP awards Saturday night held at the National World War II Museum.
WWL-TV took more first-place awards than any local television station.
Top awards include:
- Best Documentary: "Down The Drain"
- Best TV Multimedia Story: "Searching for Ramona Brown: The Mystery" - Katie Moore and Sam Winstrom
- Best Sports Story: "Will to Walk" - Ashley Rodrigue and Brian Lukas
- Best Short Light feature: "Katrina Can't Stop The Music" - Derek Waldrip
- Best Evening Newscast - Eyewitness News (Ian Kramar)
- Best News Videographer - Derek Waldrip
