ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. — Firefighters with the St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 battled a massive house fire overnight.
The fire broke out at a home on Allen Crawford Road near Pearl River sometime around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday and was under control at about 1:00 a.m. Thursday.
The fire department says everyone inside got out and was safe before the fire consumed the entire house.
Video from the fire department shows the intensity of the fire. Flames can be seen enveloping the entire structure of the home and even completely destroying a nearby parked SUV.
No word on what caused the fire.
