HANCOCK COUNTY, Miss — St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Charles Preston has identified the victim of an industrial accident that happened at a pipe manufacturing facility in Mississippi.
The incident happened Friday at the Hancock County Port Bienville Industrial Park in a facility operated by Jindal Tubular USA, LLC.
The victim, later identified by the St. Tammany Coroner as Tyde Woody, 25, was sent to Slidell Memorial Hospital where he later died from what the coroner described as “multiple blunt force injuries.”
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department is the lead investigative agency into the details of what led to the accident.
