NEW ORLEANS — Dining for Tulane University students just got easier thanks to a new partnership with Grubhub.
Tulane University partnered with Grubhub to make ordering food at Tulane dining locations easier for students.
Through the partnership, students can now use their meal credits and dining plans on Grubhub, giving them more options and expanding their plan's flexibility with a wide variety of food.
Students can use their campus dining dollars directly through the Grubhub app, with quick delivery and pickup options, and avoid waiting in long lines during busy dining hours.
In August, Grubhub announced the expansion of its Campus Dining business to more than 60 schools across the country including Tulane University.
Grubhub Campus Dining business focuses on serving college students by directly integrating mobile ordering into campus meal plans.
This comes as The Commons Dining Hall at Tulane University announced healthier food options and on-site dietitians to help students wanting to avoid the dreaded ‘Freshman 15’.
“As a dietician though, I do try to help people understand what that truly means. A lot of it is lifestyle changes, but I don't like to use that terminology, because just because you're a freshman, doesn't mean that you're destined to gain 15 pounds” explained registered dietician, Kaiten Zajac, Director of Health and Wellness for Tulane Hospitality.
