NEW ORLEANS — A discovery made by TSA agents at New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport was so surprising it made the agency’s Top 10 Best Catches of 2023.
The agency posted to social media a “top 10” list of surprising ways people have tried to smuggle illegal items past the eagle eyes of TSA agents.
At #7 on the list is a bag of meth found buried inside a plastic jar of crab boil seasoning.
“Actually the worst meth-od. Clearly a recipe for disaster. Definitely bold, but not the right kind of spicy. Really just a crust-wastin of seasoning,” a comment said in the video slide show of some bizarre ‘catches’ at airports, including a knife found inside a loaf of bread at another airport.
