NEW ORLEANS — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced all westbound lanes of the Crescent City Connection (US Highway 90-BR) over the Mississippi River have been cleared after an incident blocked all lanes just after 7 p.m.
Numerous calls to WWL Louisiana Saturday night claim traffic was at a standstill for more than 40 minutes.
Just after 8:25 p.m. the DOTD said the closure was cleared.
