NEW ORLEANS — The Louisiana Department of Transportation is currently working a serious multi-vehicle accident on the Crescent City Connection starting at 11:27 a.m.
According to the DOTD, the incident has caused all westbound lanes closed on US Highway 90-BR near Mississippi Mile Marker 234 to be blocked.
As of noon on Monday, drive time to the West Bank from the Caesars Superdome to Terry Parkway is estimated at 90 minutes.
Alternate routes include:
- Canal Street Ferry
- Chalmette Ferry
- Huey P. Long Bridge
Louisiana State Police told WWL Louisiana the multi-vehicle crash involved a dump truck and that there are minor injuries.
Crews are currently working to get the dump truck off the road and clear the scene.
