NEW ORLEANS — Bayou Classic week has already kicked off and the festivities have just begun. From afterparties, to the annual fan festival and to the big 50th annual Bayou Classic football game, there are activities for alumni and the entire family to enjoy.

Bayou Classic Official Battle of the Bands Afterparty

FRIDAY, NOV.24

It's an all Black affair. After watching the Battle of the Bands, attendees can head over to the Metropolitan Nightclub. Hosted by Big Tigger and sounds by DJ Keith Scott, Go DJ Twinz and DJ Kicks.

The party starts at 11 p.m. until 3 a.m.

Doc Griggs 'Two times around the Dome' Family Fitness Fun Walk

SATURDAY, NOV.25

Take a lap around the Dome with Doc Griggs his family fitness fun walk. Walkers can lineup at Champion Square on Lasalle Street before heading to the Dome. The event is free and open to the public.

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and the walk kicks off at 8 a.m.

The event has a clear bag policy.

Annual Bayou Classic Fan Festival

SATURDAY, NOV. 25

The annual Bayou Classic Fan Festival is hosted at Champions Square at the Caesars Superdome. The event is free and open to all ages. Featuring sounds by DJ Poppa and DJ Keith Scott with performances by Boosie, Treety, Subtweet Shawn, Daniel Heartless and more.

The event starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon.

Clear bags are required to enter.

50th Annual Bayou Classic Football Game

SATURDAY, NOV. 25

The Grambling University Tigers and the Southern University Jaguars will go head to head inside of the Caesars Superdome. Fans of the Tigers will be the home team sitting on the west side near sections 129-156 and fans of Jaguars will sit on the east side for the visiting team in sections 101-128.

Doors open at 11 a.m. and the game kicks off at 1 p.m.

Clear bags are required to enter. Tickets start at $30.

SATURDAY, NOV.25

After the big game fans can enjoy a night of fun at the Metropolitan Nightclub with special host Boosie live in concert.
