The ‘Human Jukebox’ heads to Las Vegas to perform in Super Bowl LVIII pre-show

The band, however, is not performing at the actual Super Bowl because they already committed to march in the Krewe of Bacchus parade on Sunday.

BATON ROUGE, La. — The Southern University marching band, also known as, The Human Jukebox, packed up their drums, trombones, and trumpets on Monday to head to Las Vegas.

As our partners at WBRZ report, the world-renowned band will pre-record their performance with gospel singer Kirk Franklin at the pre-game party “Soulful Celebration” on Wednesday which will air on television on Saturday.

The band, however, is not performing at the actual Super Bowl because they already committed to march in the Krewe of Bacchus parade on Sunday evening, the same time as the game.

The San Fransisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
