It happened Monday afternoon on LA Hwy 437 near South Fitzmorris Road in St. Tammany Parish. The crash claimed the life of 67-year-old Douglas Jenkins of Covington.

According to Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop L, a 2011 Honda CRV, driven by 46-year-old Kimberly Dufrene of Covington, was driving northbound on LA Hwy 437.
