St. John Parish President Jaclyn Hotard activated debris removal services post Hurricane Francine.
The debris collection will start on Friday, September 20.
Residents must follow these specific guidelines regarding Hurricane Francine-related debris. Residents are asked to separate debris into the following categories:
- Household Garbage

- Vegetation Debris
- Household Hazardous Waste
- Household Appliances
- Electronics
"Please place your debris piles at the curb in the public right-of-way in front of your home," St. John Parish said. "Do not place debris against trees, poles, mailboxes, fire hydrants, utility pedestals, or under low-hanging power lines."
