ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, La. — The Louisiana State Police issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory after a 13-year-old girl has been missing since last weekend.
Authorities are searching for Jokaia Polk, who was reported missing on Saturday, Nov. 9 around 9:30 p.m. from her home on N. Canterbury Drive in LaPlace.
Polk is a Black female with brown eyes and long “faux-locs” hairstyle, a release said. She is 5’1” tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds. Polk was last seen wearing a dark shirt and an unknown color pants.
LSP was requested by the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office to issue the advisory.
