ST. CHARLES PARISH, La. -- Authorities believe a body found in the Mississippi River Sunday morning is a woman who went missing earlier in the week.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office said the body was found by employees of Magnolia Fleet just before 7 a.m. Deputies added the person is believed to be Larrielle Ross of Mississippi.
Ross went missing Wednesday while working on a Corps of Engineers MSU boat that was docked in Norco.
Authorities said the person's identity will be confirmed after an autopsy Tuesday morning. The autopsy will take place in New Orleans.
