METAIRIE, La. — On Halloween day, New Orleanians prepared for a spooky night ahead. While many were still hunting for a costume, WWL Louisiana's Reporter Eleanor Tabone, came to work in one. Dressed as WWL Louisiana photojournalist Russell Drewry.

Decisions. Decisions. Decisions. Shopper Braden Edwards said he's just, "Trying to find a good costume." And there are countless other costume choices.

Last-minute shoppers scrambling to find something spooky, for this spooky season, said, "I would prefer a slasher, a slasher-like one, like Freddy, Jason, Michael probably."

At Spirit Halloween in Metairie, shoppers scoured the isles for their perfect outfit. Clarencia Reed said, "I am funny, I like funny costumes, so I am looking for something that will stand out."

New Orleanians love a costume, said, "You can go anywhere, you are going to see everybody dressed up all the way from toddlers all the way to the elderly."

Edwards said he loves Halloween, saying, "Growing up my family celebrated Halloween, we did full decorations around the house, and everybody went trick-a-treating. I have always loved Halloween, it's my favorite holiday."

Students over at Mount Carmel Academy came in their best costumes and were ready to dance, Mia Peppo was one of them. She said, "Our DJ came, had our annual picnic and our costume contest."
