NEW ORLEANS — Louisiana’s Department of Children and Family Services says purchases using SNAP benefits should go through, after an outage for much of Sunday.
DCFS said Louisiana residents using EBT to purchase items were being declined. They cited an issue with the national carrier, and the problem affected several states.
Electronic purchases using EBT cards were back up and running as of about 5:45 Sunday evening.
