NEW ORLEANS — Some residents in the Milneburg and St. Anthony neighborhoods in Gentilly will experience low water pressure on Tuesday morning.

The Sewerage and Water Board will test valves on a Filmore Avenue water main beginning at 8:30 a.m.

It will affect water pressure on Filmore between St. Anthony Street and Elysian Fields Avenue, and along Odin Street between Franklin Avenue and Eads Street.

Gauges will be placed and monitored by a SWBNO crew during the test closure. The procedure will be aborted, and the closure opened immediately if there are any unacceptable pressure losses during the closure or if any pressure gauge readings fall to 30psi,” S&WB said.
