BATON ROUGE, La. — A crash involving a group of motorcycles closed two lanes on I-10 westbound just before Dalrymple Drive in Baton Rouge on Sunday morning, according to our partners at WBRZ.
It happened at about 8:15 a.m. during the busy Memorial Day weekend.
The crash had traffic backed up for about a mile and cause delays for several hours.
The Baton Rouge Police Department told WBRZ the crash occurred the motorcycles hit a shattered wooden pallet on the interstate, which led to the accident.
BRPD officials say a total of one car and six motorcycles were involved in the wreck.
WBRZ also reported none of the people injured experienced life-threatening injuries.
