NEW ORLEANS – A woman, whom relatives said was seven months pregnant, was found dead alongside a building in New Orleans East from an apparent overdoes.
Police told Eyewitness News they found drug paraphernalia near the woman and do not suspect foul play. Relatives identified her as 27-year-old Kim Alphonso.
Alphonso was found about 3 p.m. in the 3700 block of Downman Road.
Her stepbrother, Brandon Lamare, said she lived near the scene and was the mother of two other children.
Police said she was found face down in an alleyway next to an air-conditioner.
The Orleans Parish coroner will conduct an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
