Power outage planned for parts of the Northshore, here is when the lights will go out

An estimated 2,853 WSTE customers south of I-12 in Mandeville will be affected. In Lacombe, an estimated 1,657 WSTE customers will be affected.

MANDEVILLE, La. — UPDATE: Power has been restored to all customers as of 5:00 a.m.

More than 6,200 residents and businesses in Mandeville and Lacombe are going to be without power for part of Tuesday night.

The planned power outage is so Cleco crews can do routine maintenance on the power grid. The power outages start Tuesday at 11:00 p.m. and are expected to be back on by 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The power outage will impact Washington-St. Tammany Electric Cooperative customers in that area.

Mandeville and Lacombe areas will be affected.  North of I-12 in Mandeville, 1,730 will be affected. 

An estimated 2,853 WSTE customers south of I-12 in Mandeville will be affected. In Lacombe, an estimated 1,657 WSTE customers will be affected.
