PONCHATOULA, La. — The 52nd annual Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival is back with more food, music, parades and of course strawberries. WWL Louisiana has everything you need to know from where to park, how to get amusement ride tickets and what you can bring.
When and where is the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival
Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival is a three-day festival starting on Friday, April 12, and ending on Sunday, April 14.
The festival is held annually at Ponchatoula Memorial Park.
- Friday doors are open from noon to 11 p.m.
- Saturday doors open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Sunday doors open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Free entry and cash only
It's no cost to enter the festival but tickets can be purchased to enjoy amusement rides.
Tickets are $1.50 each or $30 for 20 tickets. It's 3-6 tickers per ride.
Tickets cannot be purchased in advance.
Amusement Rides:
- Friday rides will be open from noon until 10:30 p.m. Armbands will be available for $30 from noon until 5 p.m., and they can be used for rides only on Friday. Tickets will be required after 5 p.m.
The event is cash only, no credit or debit cards will be accepted. There will be ATMs on festival grounds.
Food and Drinks
Over 40 booths operated by local non-profit organizations will serve various food and drinks from seafood baked potatoes, strawberry shortcakes and strawberry daiquiris.

Parking
There will be several lots around Memorial Park that will charge a fee to park. Free parking will be available but is limited.
The fee to park will help to benefit a local non-profit organization.
Entertainment Lineup
Nearly 20 performances will take place across two stages. Clay Cormier & The Highway Boys kick off the festival Friday and band Three Thirty Seven will close out the festival.

Shoes and shirts are required. Only clear backpacks and diaper bags are allowed.
