Plaquemines Parish testing emergency siren system

The test will take place between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.

PLAQUEMINES PARISH, La. — The Plaquemines Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness says they're testing their emergency siren system on Wednesday.

The test is on the siren system from Myrtle Grove to Venice on the West Bank and Phoenix to Pointe a la Hache on the Eastbank of the Mississippi River. It will take place between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.

 "No action is required," Officials said. "We apologize for any inconvenience."
