BELLE CHASSE, La. — Thousands of customers are currently without power in Belle Chasse and Estlle.
According to the Entergy outage map, power went out in Belle Chasse just before 5 a.m. The estimated restoration time is 8 a.m. Power went out in Estelle around 7 a.m. The estimated restoration time is 8:30 a.m.
Crews are working to make repairs.
"Additional information will be provided when available," the Entergy outage map said. "We apologize for this inconvenience."
