NEW ORLEANS — Everybody knows about The Skeleton House.
It's on the corner of State Street and Saint Charles Avenue. Every year, it's completely decked out with skeletons doing all sorts of things.
With Taylor Swift coming to town, the homeowner has to honor the tortured poet herself.
"When Taylor Swift announced her three shows here last year, our grandchildren went crazy," said Louellen Berger.
Berger owns the iconic skeleton house. This year's theme for the iconic skeleton house is Terror Swift: The Scare-ras Tour. She said her now 13-year-old granddaughter really took creative control and made sure everything was executed properly.
Berger said, "She sketched out every single costume, one from each of her albums, and how it should look, including the hairstyles down to the fingernails. My 12-year-old granddaughter said exactly do it like this."
Her granddaughter was one of the lucky ones to score tickets to one of three concerts. Other lucky ticket holders stopped by the house to see into another Terror Swift, like Lauren Ehrhardt. The fifth grader from Scared Heart said, "I'm most excited about whenever she sings the album lover and stuff or like the other cool songs. I want to get the merch."
Berger said she's just happy to see others happy.
"I love Taylor for what she has done, especially as a role model for our grandkids. It's heartwarming to see people so excited," she said.
You can see the skeleton house until November 1st.
