NEW ORLEANS -- The Shops at Canal Place has been sold to a New York-based real estate firm, according to reports from The New Orleans Advocate.
The 32-story, 260,000-square-foot complex near the foot of Canal Street was purchased by O'Connor Capital Partners, a real estate investment, management and development firm from the New Orleans-based Berger Company and Ogden Development.
The deal closed Wednesday and the terms were not immediately disclosed.
According to The Advocate, the purchase includes the nine-screen cinema, the Theatres at Canal Place, but it does not include the Westin New Orleans hotel or the adjacent parking garage.
