The New Orleans Fire Department responded to a 1-alarm house fire in the Seventh Ward on Friday afternoon.
The fire was located at 2127 N. Derbigny Street.
At 2:30 p.m., Chief C. Mickal of the NOFD Photo Unit posted images on X ( formerly known as Twitter) of crews battling a blaze near the roof of a two-story wooden home.
The house sustained significant damage on both floors and three people were treated for smoke inhalation, including one who was taken to the hospital.
