New developments in the murder of a Tulane grad who came back to New Orleans to plan his wedding.
Friends and family of Thomas Rolfes, 25, are raising money to increase the Crimestoppers reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
They say some local companies and Rolfes' parents have donated money so far. They hope to more than double the standard $2,500 reward.
His friends are also raising money through a gofundme account.
If the money is not used for a reward, it will go toward a scholarship in Rolfes' memory.
Rolfes was shot and killed in an apparent robbery early Saturday morning at Amelia Street and South Claiborne Avenue.
