BOGALUSA, LA -- Washington Parish Sheriff's deputies and Bogalusa Police said they have arrested three suspects involved in a drug dealing operation based out of a motel room.

Deputies and police say they were acting on a citizen's tip about unusual activity occurring on Columbus Street in Bogalusa when they discovered drug dealers were operating out of a room at the Choctaw Motel in the evening of April 28.

According to officers, numerous illegal drugs were found scattered about the motel room along with weapons, and additional illegal drugs were found in vehicles in the parking lot.

Three individuals were in the motel room, and officers say they were arrested and transported to Bogalusa City Jail and then to the Washing Parish Jail.

Officers arrested 19-year-old Jamarius Charles Johnson, 18-year-old Bryant Keith Myers, and 41-year-old William Robinson. They were each booked and charged with multiple offenses including an outstanding warrant for Robinson involving the distribution of illegal drugs.

Bond for the three men had not been set at as of 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Sheriff Randy Seal said the deputies acted quickly once they received information.

"Suspecting that both illegal drugs and firearms might be present, we enlisted the help of the Bogalusa Police Department to provide additional personnel," said Sheriff Seal.

Seal went on to say he is aware that other drug dealers are out there and that they are on his radar. "Sooner or later we will have the privilege of introducing them to a four inch mattress and a steel bunk," said Seal.
