Louisiana State Police cancels Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory

LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. — UPDATE: Brody Sturdivant has been located and is safe. All inquiries into this matter should be directed to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The Louisiana State Police and the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office are searching for 10-year-old Brody Sturdivant.

On Monday morning state police issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory on behalf of the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Police say Sturdivant was last seen on Sunday at his home on Eastover Boulevard in Denham Springs.

According to LSP, he went missing at around 7:00 p.m. after leaving the home.  

"Sturdivant is a white male with brown eyes and long red hair. He is 4’8” tall and weighs approximately 100 pounds," police said. He was last seen on foot wearing red shorts, no shirt, and no shoes.

Police said that family members said that "Sturdivant exhibits behaviors consistent with a developmental condition that may require specialized care."

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office at (225) 686-2242 or dial 911.
