MANDEVILLE, La. -- The Mandeville Police Department announced the safe return Wednesday night of a teen who they said went missing after leaving school with two males.
The announcement came about two hours after authorities said 16-year-old Lucy Hassinger left Mandeville High School Wednesday afternoon with the two males. Police said the two were custody, and had not given them information about Hassinger's whereabouts.
Mandeville Police Department thanked the public for their quick response in an email sent to media outlets.
