ABITA SPRINGS, La. — The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office says a man is dead after being hit by a vehicle while jogging in Abita Springs Monday morning.
Deputies were called to the Money Hill subdivision around 8:30 a.m. after a report that a Chevrolet Silverado had struck a pedestrian.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
