Madisonville man wanted after luxury cars stolen in Houston found at northshore storage facility

GOODBEE, La. — A Madisonville man is being sought after at least four luxury cars reported stolen out of the Houston area were found at a storage facility in Goodbee.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office said that the stolen vehicles had been traced back to Tyler Stewart, 29, of Madisonville.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle located near a storage facility in the 73000 block of Highway 1077 in Goodbee on Saturday. The deputies found several high-end vehicles parked and the property crimes division was called to investigate.

The four vehicles were said to be worth more than $300,000.

The sheriff’s office said all of the vehicles had their VIN switched or altered and that more than 12 pounds of marijuana and some Adderall were found in one of the vehicles.

Stewart has a warrant on him for four counts of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle over $25,000; Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana; Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
