ABITA SPRINGS, La. — Adderall, Xanax, cocaine, acid, cough syrup, were allegedly found in bundles inside a Northshore house, according to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office on Monday.
Deputies arrested Allen Tate Jr., 28, in the Hillcrest neighborhood of Abita Springs, after hearing reports of drug activity.
"Residents called in tips of suspected drug activity at a residence in the 73000 block of Eagle Street," STPSO said.
The release sent out Monday morning, detailed their laundry list of illegal and suspected nonprescription drugs that turned up the search turned in their search. These included hundreds of suspected Adderall and Xanax pills, nearly 70 grams of suspected magic mushrooms (psilocybin), 10 grams of cocaine and over 560 grams of suspected marijuana. Deputies also listed acid, THC vapes, wax, Ketamine, and hundreds of grams of the cough syrup codeine.
Deputies also seized Tate's high performance muscle car, a 2016 Dodge Challenger, which STPSO said was bought with drug money.
"I thank the residents who contacted us to make us aware of Mr. Tate's drug activity and encourage others who notice suspicious behavoir in their neighborhoods to do the same," Sheriff Randy Smith said.
