According to the sheriff's office, the body was found around 7 a.m on Highway 90, just south of the intersection of Highway 433 and Highway 90. The body was badly decomposed and the person appeared to have been deceased for several days.
Authorities believe that the body was dumped at the location - a sign of foul play occurring elsewhere.
