SLIDELL, La. — The Louisiana State Police investigated a fatal crash that occurred on Interstate 12 near the I-59 interchange on Wednesday morning.

Troopers responded to the scene shortly after 6:30 a.m. when a single-vehicle crash claimed the life of 52-year-old Nolan Gautier of Slidell.

According to LSP's preliminary investigation, Gautier's 2015 Chevrolet Camaro traveled off the roadway and struck a concrete embankment.
