NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the Little Woods neighborhood of New Orleans East.
Police say it happened at about 8:42 a.m. in the 10800 block of Kinneil Road.
Responding officers found an adult male victim, later identified by the corner to be Warren Richard, 45, inside a residence and he was suffering from a gunshot wound. New Orleans EMS transported the victim to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Few details are available at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
