NEW ORLEANS -- A man was shot and killed in the Seventh Ward Friday night.
According to NOPD, officers responded to the call of a man shot in the street near the intersection of North Roman and Lapeyrouse Streets on Sept. 9 around 11:10 p.m.
When NOPD arrived at the scene, officers found a man with a single gunshot wound lying next to a vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
