NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a fatal single-car crash in New Orleans East that claimed the life of a juvenile.
According to a press release from the New Orleans Police Department, the crash happened Tuesday morning in the 6500 block of Morrison Road.
Initial reports indicate that a juvenile male inside the vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital by private means, where he was later pronounced dead.
No other injuries have been reported. Morrison Road remains closed to traffic as police continue their investigation into the crash.
