NEW ORLEANS — NOLA Public Schools enrollment process for the 2024-2025 school year is officially open after being offline due to technical issues. In a statement to WWL, NOLAPS said despite numerous tests on the NOLA Public School's Common Application website, there was a glitch that popped up during the final test.

"We understand the importance of timely access for our families, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delayed site launch, recognizing that our tardiness falls short of the standards of excellence we strive to uphold at NOLA Public Schools (NOLA-PS). This is a matter we do not take lightly," said Executive Director of Communications Taslin Alfonzo in a statement.

NOLAPS said the technical error would have compromised completed applications. The error will not impact parents' ability to secure their child a seat for the next school year. Regardless of when an application for K-12 is submitted, it will be processed once applications close on January 19th.

NOLA PS said, "For any questions or concerns, we encourage families to reach out to our enrollment team at enroll@nolapublicschools.com. Our team is prepared to assist and respond to inquiries."
