NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Fire Department battled a fire coming from a home in the Irish Channel neighborhood Wednesday night.
Firefighters said the fire happened on 714 7th Street around 7:34 p.m. NOFD said it was a 2-alarm fire.
They said the fire came from the first and second-floor windows in the left side and rear of a two-story home, in a release.
The fire was under control at 8:12 p.m. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
