NEW ORLEANS — The Municipal and Traffic Court of New Orleans will remain closed until further notice due to an ongoing power outage.
Officials said the court's building was having a "power failure" around 8 a.m. Wednesday. The court will resume normal operations on Thursday, Apr. 25 depending on if power can be restored in the building.
Defendants who were served to appear in court today should appear to their allotted court division at the time on their subpoena Thursday or at their earliest convenience.
