NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell was granted a temporary protective order against a New Orleans woman. The filed paperwork claimed the woman has been aggressively photographing and harassing her.
Cantrell said the woman has stalked her for the past two years, Nola.com reported. She said the woman also stalked her on April 7 when she was at dinner on a restaurant balcony.
According to our partners, the woman was providing photos and videos to the media.
Cantrell said the photos and video were "used to attack, dehumanize, and weaponize" her character.
The restraining order was granted for a 10-day period.
