NEW ORLEANS — We got a few calls about a very loud noise on Wednesday night. It was heard across the river from the Nine Mile Entergy Station.
Entergy tells us a steam relief valve was opened. Operators have addressed the issue and it should be quiet out there now.
We're also told there were never any safety concerns.
