NEW ORLEANS — It’s a concert most people only see in their wildest dreams.
“I can’t feel my stomach,” One fan said. “It’s like it’s sinking.”
On Friday, Swifties of all ages lined up to see superstar Taylor Swift perform right here at the Dome.
“I went to see her Fearless tour in 2009, and she hugged me,” another fan said. “It was magical.”
Most Swifties dressed up in their favorite Taylor Swift Era. From the costumes to the friendship bracelets, there was no shortage of swiftie excitement in Champion Square.
"My wife bought the supplies, and we spent hours making these friendship bracelets,” a fan is his “dad era” said.
The fun will begin again on Saturday. The city is expecting a total of 150,000 Taylor fans to attend her three sold-out shows over the weekend.
In each concert, fans will sing along to songs from her 14 albums. No matter how loud they sing, no one will tell them they need to calm down.
