CrescentCare to give free Black Health Summit

The event will be on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at 1631 Elysian Fields Ave.

NEW ORLEANS — CrescentCare will be hosting its first annual Black Health Summit on Saturday.

The event is free and open to the public, featuring free health screenings, educational sessions, food, music and giveaways.

Sounds and live performances will include BJ So Cole, DJ Pedro The Juice, DJ 504Millz and Bag Boy Million$.

The community resource fair will also feature workshops and panels with topics about “Advocating For Yourself In the Doctor’s Office” “Medical Mistrust” “Healthy Sexual” and  “The State of Black Youth”.
